National Puppy Day

Puppies are adorable and everyone loves them.  Today I will share pictures of my 3 dogs when they were pups.  The oldest one is Jade and we “inherited” from my son & daughter-in-law because she was too big for their apartment. She came to live with us in June of 2012. They got her from a shelter and was told she was 1 1/2 to 2 years old.  That would make her 2 or 2 1/2 in this picture. She loves carrying around sticks.

The next in line is Rudy that we got when he was 8 weeks old in September 2011. You have to love it when their toys are almost as big as them.  🙂Rudy1_Sept 2011

Finally, Zelda was born here at the end of March 2014.  Rudy is her dad and here mother,  DeeDee, died shortly after her birth. She really had the short dark nose when she was born. This picture was taken in April 2014 which would make her 3 to 4 weeks old.Zelda 4-2012

I would love to see pictures of your puppies!  Share if you want!  Enjoy them while they are  adorable puppies.

* Observed each year on March 23rd is National Puppy Day. National Puppy Day will be celebrated on the Friday or Monday closest to March 23rd if that day falls on a weekend.
