Limerick Day

Do you remember when you were younger and had do create certain kinds of poems in school? I believe that limericks are considered a type of poem.  Even though I am not very good at writing limericks below are a couple I found:

There was an Old Man of Nantucket
Who kept all his cash in a bucket.
His daughter, called Nan,
Ran away with a man,
And as for the bucket, Nantucket.

There was an old man with a beard
Who said, “it’s just how I feared!
Two owls and a hen
Four larks and a wren
Have all built their nests in my beard.
