In our wood shop we are making flags. The first one we have made was the American Flag. Since we did not have many nibbles for the American Flag we decided to make a 3 panel Mexican Flag. Each panel is 24” tall and 12” wide which makes the total size bigger than the American Flag. The trickiest part is the symbol. I printed the symbol on my ink jet printer and glued it on the center panel. Then used polyurethane to seal it onto the wood. I have found that you can use freezer paper to transfer onto plain wood. But I couldn’t get it to look good so we stuck with the paper applique. Several people said they liked it at the flea market but no one ordered a flag.
